AMY CHILDRESS

Amy Childress serves as the Multimedia Coordinator and Supervisor for a number of Environmental Education Projects in the Agricultural and Biological Engineering Department at Purdue University. She received Bachelor degrees in Biology and History from Purdue in 1996.



SUSAN CHILDRESS


Susan Childress is a student at Purdue University studying pre-veterinary medicine in the Biology Department. Her future plans include applying to veterinary school.



DR. DON D. JONES

Dr. Don D. Jones is a Professor in Agricultural and Biological Engineering at Purdue University. He received his B.S. and M.S. from the University of Illinois and his Ph.D. from Purdue University. Dr. Jones joined the faculty at Purdue in 1976. His current research interests include computer applications (spreadsheets, multimedia) in agriculture, especially applied to agricultural production systems. He has helped develop expert systems in agriculture and has been involved in a number of research and distance education projects dealing with rural wastewater issues.

DR. R. MACK STRICKLAND

R. Mack Strickland is a Professor in Agricultural and Biological Engineering at Purdue University. He received his B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. from Purdue University and began as an assistant professor with the ABE Department in 1979. Mack's major areas of teaching and research involve computer applications including programming, spreadsheets, computer-aided instruction, hardware and software selection and simulation. He does extensive work with the mechanical sciences producing training material for 4-H woodworking, compact tractors and farm power. Mack has been actively involved with the development of a number of hypertext-based environmental education programs, projects funded by U.S. EPA and the USDA. Mack has received numerous awards including an Honorary American FFA Degree in 1991 and Outstanding Teacher in Agricultural Engineering in 1993.
