Re-submissions

In order to avoid a duplicate charge when you re-submit a fingerprint at the request of the MSDH, you should follow these simple procedures:

  1. If you submitted the original fingerprint by mail, then please re-submit by mail. If you submitted electronically, then please re-submit electronically. Otherwise, you will have a different transaction number and you will be charged twice.
  2. If you have FingerPro ID installed at your facility please read the topic "Re-submitting Record" in the manual you received during training and follow those instructions. If you do not have this manual, please email support@fingerpro.net to request a copy.

Fingerprints

If you do not have staff already trained to roll inked fingerprints, please do not roll the fingerprints without being trained. We would encourage you to either 1) have them rolled at your local police or sheriff's office, or 2) have a person who has expertise in this area to train your staff so that you can send the fingerprints for applicants hired to the MSDH in a timely manner.
