Received complaint that customer visited Waffle House #1104 on 06/30/2015 around 9:00PM. When she went to sit down at the booths by the bathroom, she stated that hundreds of tiny roaches scattered on the booth seat. she said she alerted staff and left.

Investigation on roach complaint- facility due for full inspection. No roaches were observed during inspection but the following violations were found. 1.) Observed several (too many to count) drain flies in both front and back of the facility. Observed drain flies landing on unprotested food products at the line make station. No roaches were observed. *Must be corrected ASAP 2.) Observed employees not properly washing hands before glove use. *Corrected- employee washed hands before glove use. 3.) Observed contaminated condensation drip from A?C over food line space and inside two of the coolers; Upright two door has contaminate fluid dripping on several food products. *Must be corrected ASAP 4.) Observed food products in line prep cooler temping >41F; ham 53F, cut tomatoes 53F. *Corrected- Mgr voluntarily discarded tomatoes and placed ham on ice. 5.) Observed container of detergent stored with grits on prep sink. *corrected- moved detergent of prep sink. 6.) Observed employee coat left on line and employee drinks left on soda station. * corrected- moved all employees items and drinks to designated area. Facility failed due to the Drain Flies and number of violations. Will give 10 days and then follow up.
