A CUSTOMER AND A UNIDENTIFIED PERSON PHONED HEALTH DEPT TO MAKE A COMPLAINT. ONE OF COMPLAINANTS STATED THE OWNER SPIT IN THE SINK WHERE FOOD WAS SITUATED, USE BARE HANDS TO HANDLE FOOD, CHANGE DATES ON DELI MEAT, AND BROUGHT TUNA INTO STORE FROM ANOTHER SUBWAY AND IT WAS EXPIRED BUT USED IT ANYWAY. THE OTHER COMPLAINANT STATED THAT THEY HEARD EMPLOYEES ARGUING WITH EACH OTHER ABOUT PROBLEMS IN STORE THAT ARE LISTED ABOVE AND THAT THEY HAD MOLD IN THEIR CUP OF ICE.

DISCUSSED COMPLAINT IN STORE WITH OWNER AND NEW MANAGER. BOTH STATED THAT COMPLAINT IS NOT TRUE. OBSERVED A EMPTY TUNA PACKET PREPARED TODAY WITH AN EXPIRATION DATE OF JULY 12, 2017. THE TOP OF THE SELF DISPENSING ICE BIN IS OBSERVED WITH A LITTEL MOLD THAT OWNER WIPED CLEAN WITH A SANITIZED CLOTH. ICE IS COVERED AND WIPED. DETAIL CLEANING DUE TO BE ACCOMPLISHED SUNDAY, OTHERWISE NO EVIDENCE OF OTHER NAMED VIOLATIONS OBSERVED. WILL FOLLOW-UP ON COMPLAINT AT NEXT INSPECTION.
