On May 12, 2018 at around 7 PM, my family and I ordered tuna subs from this Subway restaurant (store #17048-0). My mother-in-law chewed on a small piece of wood (wood chip less than 0.5 in. in length, 0.25 in. in width and 0.25 in. height). We informed the staff and did nothing but took the wood chip away from us. We were on our way for a 5-day Mexican cruise leaving from Mobile, AL. We drove to and from Mobile, AL. And now we are back in Edwardsville, IL. Please investigate where the wood chip come from. We complained to Subway on deaf ears. I have a copy of the receipt if you need it. My entire family witness this event. I don't know if there will be later damages to our intestinal track like being cut by small pieces of wood chips. It is not only my mother-in-law who ordered the tuna sub. My wife and I shared a foot long of tuna sub. Sincerely, Dr. Lawrence Norcio
