CUSTOMER ATE AT KENTUCKY FRIED CHICKEN 10/30/2007 AROUND 9:30PM AND BECAME ILL 4 1/2 HOURS LATER WITH DIARRHEA AND VOMITING. TOOK PEPTO BISMAL AND SLEPT FOR 3 HOURS AND WAS FINE BY NOON.

WENT TO STORE AND OBSERVED THE OVER ALL CONDITION OF STORE. TEMPED CHICKEN (ALL TEMPS ARE GOOD). WENT OVER THE RECEIVING, STORAGE,AND COOKING PROCEDURES WITH THE ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER, LATOYA CHATMAN. SHE STATE CHICKEN IS RECEIVED FRESH 3 TIMES A WEEK AND TEMP UPON DELIVERY BEFORE PLACING IN THE WALK IN COOLER AND HELD NO MORE THAN 10 DAYS. ONCE FRIED IT IS HELD AN HOUR AND FIFTY MINUTES. THE TIME IS RECORDED ON A LABEL AND PLACE ON THE RACK WITH THE CHICKEN (EDGE OF LABEL SNAPS TO RACK). ADVISED TO ENSURE ALL EMPLOYEES ARE AWARE OF PROPER HANDWASHING, PERSONAL HYGIENE, AND NO BARE HAND CONTACT WITH READY TO EAT FOOD. IN ADDITION ADVISED TO BE SURE ALL COOKING AND HOLDING TEMPS ARE MAINTAINED AT 165 (COOKING) AND 135 (HOLDING). ADVISED THAT WE WILL CONTINUE TO FOLLOW UP DURING SCHEDULED INSPECTIONS FOR ANY SIGNS OF COMPLAINT.
