Went to facility at lunch time 9/4/08. Flies in building. Facility was filthy. Using dirty wiping cloth to wipe between containers of tomatoes and other condiments.

Phoned store and spoke with the store manager, Lori Yarnell, about the complaint. She stated that all surfaces are wipe with sanitized wiping cloths, and changed as needed. During busy rush hours more food then normal gets on the floor but is clean during slow periods. Flies get in and she advise the employees to keep the drive through window shut as much as possible. She stated that they were appoved for a new store, due to begin possibly December 2008. Advised her to work on getting something in place to help control the flies. Pest control is with Federal out of Mobile and will have them advise on what can be utilized or put in place to help control flies. She will fax a copy of the next pest control report on what is in place or advised to be put in place. Advise to ensure wiping cloths are changed out as needed and continue to clean as they are doing during slow periods. Continue to maintain until a new store is constructed.
