Caller stated that he and his wife ate at the facility at approximately 2 pm on 12/26/08. The husband ate the meatballs, sweet/sour chicken, vegetable stir fry, fried fish, baked fish, pork loin, green beans, egg roll, and dessert-chocolate cake dipped in chocolate. He got sick within a few hours after eating the food. Symptoms included: nausea, fever, diarrhea throughout the weekend. He did not go to the hospital.

Observed pulled pork on buffet line and hot box at 103-113 degrees F-was cooked at 11 am. Observed sausage on buffet line 100-135 degrees F. Observed green peppers sitting on top of trash can in asian area. Observed 2 customers touching pizza on the buffet line with bare hands. All violations were corrected on-site. Advised to keep hot holding logs-will follow-up to check temps at future inspections. Chocolate sticks will be kept behind buffet for employee use only. Manager will see that pizza is properly sliced so that the customer is not having to touch pizza to attenpt to pull the pizza from the pan with bare hand contact.
