Servers do not use trays to serve drinks or food, but stack them from their elbows out to their hands, with the glasses, salad bowls, and plates touching their bodies. One server delivered 5 plates across from me and her breast was resting on top of a baked potato. Thankfully, my drink and food was being held in the hands of the server. When brought to the manager's attention, I was told they use the buddy system and are supposed to have help when delivering more than their 2 hands will hold. I asked him to observe what was going on around me and he did notice the buddy system was not in place. He also said trays tend to cause more accidents. He agreed plates should never touch their body and said he would take care of the matter. However, he left my table, walked by the kitchen, looked in, and proceeded to the front to help seat new customers. For the hygiene and safety of customers, this should not be allowed!

InvestigationHistory
I have discussed this with the State Food Specialist. He state the serving from the arm is an appoved method of serving, of couse the food must not be touch with hands or clothing of server. I spoke with the manager of Logan's and explained the complaint. He stated he would be discussing the correct way to serve from the arm with his empoyees. He states what it sounded like to him was the employee just got in to big of a hurry and tried to overload his arm.(poor practice).
