On Wednesday, March 30, 2011 myself, husband and another couple ate (or tried to) at the restaurant, approximate time 6pm..food tasted bad, The chicken was spoiled, told waitress, she said others had complained so she pulled it from buffet. I was sick for 2 days, food poisoning. Friend said he was sick also.

Went to facility for inspection and discussed complaint with manager. Manager stated no other complaints were made to the facility. Went over all procedures involving chicken from delivery to consumption. Meat prep cooler is stocked daily and ambient air temp was 36 degrees. Sysco provides chicken. Receive a shipment twice weekly, 10 cases the first shipment and 6 cases the 2nd. Manager stated chicken is rotated before placing more chicken in cooler. Chicken is recieved frozen and kept in the meat walk-in cooler (ambient air at 38 degrees). Chicken is pulled and seasoned and placed back into cooler. They only pull enough chicken out of cooler to fry at the time. Observed raw chicken in ice water in prep sink about to be seasoned. Chicken is cooked to over 165 degrees and placed on buffet. Any leftovers are pulled, deboned and placed in cooler to be used in chicken spaghetti. Chicken temps on buffet were all over 135 degrees hot holding. Chicken in the facility did not appear to be spoiled.
