InvestigationHistory
I spoke with Larry Barnes, Manager of KFC. He explained his interaction Ruby Warnsley. I asked Mr. Bates to explain what he did following the complaint, he said he checked employees for cuts and then dumped the remaining pudding. I spoke with a female manager who explained that one person takes the pudding out of the can and puts it into the serving pan that goes on bar. The day of the alleged incident, Rosa was the person that prepared, served and maintained. Mr. Bates also explained that KFC has a system where they wear blue bandaids, which is inconsistent with the complaint of a pink/brown bandaid. In conclusion, the procedures the facility have in place seems to be adequate to protect from this kind of issue. The original batch of pudding had been discarded and could not be examined. Also, each employee was checked for cuts or scratches and none were seen. Lastly, one individual handles the pudding from the time it is taken out of the can to the time it is put on the bar. I would caution KFC to be mindful that individuals that visit the bar can accidentally or intentionally place items in the food.
