Received complaint of a possible food borne illness from a person who stated that they ate a Box combo around 4:30 PM on Monday 4/27/2015. The individual stated that they later began experiencing symptoms of nausea, diarrhea, stomach cramps, and head ache. Symptoms were said to have started around 8:00PM that night and was still experiencing the symptoms at the time of the complaint.

Went to facility to address complaint and manager went over the chicken prep. > chicken rinsed and cleaned at chicken prep station > chicken is breaded and fried > after frying chicken is touched to determine doneness. > chicken is then served to customers or discarded if not served right away. Asked manager to describe what touch is and was told that the cook washes hands and touches the cooked product using bare hands. Advised that per FDA food code 3-301.11 one cannot touch any ready to eat food items with bare hands. Advised re-training of staff.
