Complaint  Realtor (Coldwell-Banker) and owner have recently sold this two-acre parcel to unknown individuals. The price asked for ($28,500) was grossly inflated for 2 empty acres. Coldwell-Banker marketed the property as having "5 septic tanks and 5 electrical hook-ups; the possibilities are endless". The rear of the property, a defunct 1-acre temporary FEMA camp, had been previously red-flagged by the State of Mississippi Health Dept. for septic and health violations. When the tanks were installed in 2005, the discharge (leech lines) were simply coiled up and thrown into the hole with each tank. There is no discharge. Also, the tank tops are visible top of the ground. When the FEMA parks were full, sewage would thus flow into the stormwater system (ditches) and eventually into my private pond, which serves as a pseudo water collection body. Sewage was always visible on the ground in "lagoons" at the two Katie Eubanks FEMA parks. Presently, the new 2017 owners appear to be trying to open up another trailer park in the same location on Katie Eubanks Rd. They appear to be building a trench in order to run water from the former pad of the main trailer location on Tut Road to the 12 pads on Katie Eubanks, since The State terminated water to the park on Katie Eubanks due to the serious and ongoing septic violations. They appear to be readying to accept trailers. I realize this is a pre-emptive letter. However, if these unknown people start to bring in 12 trailers or more, disease will once again be spread throughout this little rural neighborhood; but - most importantly - to my own property and to my pond, where I keep fowl (ducks and turkeys). I had previously written directly to Coldwell-Banker to let them know that the acreage can only be sold as a single-family dwelling, to no avail. Thank you. Kindly keep my name confidential. I am a recent widow. I just had my tire slashed and am in some fear. Please confirm receipt and let me know if I need to follow up with a signed letter.
