Complaint  Katie Eubanks Road is a rural dead-ended street. This five-acre parcel is located at the end of this dead-end, east side. The parcel was formerly used as a FEMA trailer park by county supervisor Havard. It has reportedly been recently sublet to Ricardo Fuentes. It is being operated presently as a de facto trailer park. HAS THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI BEEN NOTIFIED? Has the owner filed the appropriate trailer park documents with the State of Mississippi? When opened as a trailer park in 2005, the septic system failed within a month. None of the septic tanks have field lines. Ergo, a huge sewage lagoon formed in the front of the park. Trailer park children played in it. The stench was atrocious. The lagoon contents spilled into storm ditches throughout the neighborhood. Havard reportedly used a straw man to reopen the park two years after its closure by the USG. The State of MS closed this park down by shutting down water (Combined). The owners promptly set up a new water well for the park to avoid State sanctions. The State had the electricity shut off. The residents of the park left. But now it is being reopened as a trailer park with a wink and a nod from the County Health Department. It is unknown if the George Co. Health Department communicated with the State of MS about this new opening. Trailers and campers are being moved onto this parcel every few weeks, along with the new residents. The faulty prior septic system remains in place. It remains unknown how the new septic hook-ups are being accomplished. Water has been turned back on by Combined Util., as well as electricity. And the park expands in spite of the life-threatening issues that existed with the former FEMA park. Thank you.
