My mother has some land with a old family home and pond at address listed. We like to recreationally fish the pond on the property and occasionally eat our catch; however, a while back my my niece who is majoring in labatory technology at Southern Ms took a water sample from the pond to lab where it was found to have extremely/dangerously large quantities of E. coli. We are not sure of the cause of this but suspect the property where you turn into the property. It is a rental and it is known that they have had septic problems in the past. We would like to get this rectified as we would like to have some management done to the pond in the future. We would also feel better if the levels where normalized as the kids and other friends and family like to kayak and fish in the small pond. Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.

Investigation History
PHEO drove past the possible house site that complainant stated in information section. Due to unknown animals on the property i didn?t want to explore this further until i can verify that it is indeed the property in question. If so i will issue out a letter of entry for this propety to the property owner verified for 58 Eastview circle. Status is pending until verification can be made further.
